Dr. Rivers has specialized in mental health for 20 years. She currently serves as the chief nurse of Mental Health at the Greater Los Angeles Veterans Affairs. She is also the owner of Chain Breakers Consulting, where she provides personal counseling and support to the mentally ill and their families. Dr. Rivers is an ordained pastor and mother of three.
