Dr. Lawrence McCall
Dr. Lawrence T. McCall holds a Doctorate Degree in Organizational Leadership with an Emphasis on Organizational Development, a Master of Management degree in Criminal Justice, a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, and an Associate of Arts degree in Criminal Justice Administration. He is a graduate of the Institute for Law Enforcement Administration (ILEA), the School of Police Supervision, and the Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas at Sam Houston University (LEMIT). Dr. McCall attended The Mays Business School at Texas A&M University, the 50th School of Executive Leadership, Police Supervision, and the Leadership Development series at the Institute for Law Enforcement Administration in Plano, Texas to gain further knowledge in Executive Leadership and Management. Dr. McCall is a motivational speaker who travels the country and speaks with organizational leaders on culture and change. He also is licensed by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement as Master Police Officer and served as a Police Chief, Assistant Commander, Lieutenant, Sergeant, Detective and Field Training Officer for various police departments. Dr. McCall’s experiences have been geared toward managerial roles, establishing working relationships with criminal justice entities and community stakeholders, while using a common-sense approach to enforce the laws, while aiding those in need.
Dr. McCall received an Honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corps prior to becoming a police officer in the Chicagoland area. Dr. McCall has years of work experience as a full-time police manager and as a Director of Safety and Security in various settings. Dr. McCall received advanced training in Police Supervision, New Supervisor Course, Special Tactics in Undercover Surveillance Techniques, National Information Management Systems, and Drug Unit and Gang Units. Dr. McCall’s goal is to serve the community in a fair and compassionate manner by leading with a vision and empowering others to meet the overall goals and objectives of the organization.
